An Amazing Night

There are many things I love in my life, the top one being my family and friends but after that its music.
I love music, it is one of the most important things in my life. I don't think I could live without music. I play guitar, take singing lessons and have over 700 songs on my phone and even more on my computer so music is with me at all times.
One of my favorite bands is The Script (If you have not heard of them stop reading this and go check them out.) and on the 6th of April I had the amazing experience of going to see them in concert at rod laver arena.
I had never actually been to a concert before so I wasn't really sure what to expect but it was amazing!!!
I went with my cousin who I found out as we were driving there didn't really know them at all but despite that she even had a good time.
It was so great to hear them live and sing along to all my favorite songs with tons of people who loved them as much as I did.
I think everyone should experience a good concert of someone they love at least once. It just leaves you with such a great feeling.
Also thanks to The Script I have found yet another awesome band to add to my growing list of favorites and they are called The Original Rude Boys ( again go check them out). They were one of the supporting acts and I loved them. They are so unique and talented.

So if you ever get a chance to go to a concert of someone you love take it you won't regret it.

Music is to the soul what words are to the mind.

My favorite Instagram accounts

I love Instagram. Its a fact. I don't have Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr or MySpace but I have Instagram.

I don't post that many photos, i've had an account for nearly a year ( yeah I came on a bit late) and have only posted 43 photos which is nothing compared to some people out there but I love looking at all the great photos other people post. So I thought I would share some of my favorite instagramer. Now I am not going to list everyone I follow because I follow 66 users at the moment which is a bit much to share. So without further ado here is my favs in no particular order.

1. 'Red' Hong Yi
This girl is Amazing!!!
In her description she says she is a artist-architect who likes to paint but not with a paintbrush and boy does she do i good job. She is so talented and creative. I loved her food series and liked how she told you what she used. This has got to be one of my favs that she has made.

2.Chantelle Ellem aka Fat Mum Slim
So this girl is an aussie blogger who created photo a day. For those of you who haven't heard of photo a day go to her blog for more detail. I have tried it a few times but I always seem to forget but it is still an awesome idea and I love looking at the fab four. She also makes some fab food has an adorable little girl and a cute puppy so all together she has some fantastic pics.

3. Isabelle Kessedjian aka Kessedjian
Isabelle is an artist from paris who adds a little bit of cute to my day. Everything she makes is so adorable and sweet.

4. Amazing Recipes
Now there are a lot of instagrams that post pics of food but this is one of the only one I have found that actually post the recipe to which is a big plus because i hate finding a dessert that looks amazing but i have know idea how to make it. The only issue i have is that they sometime use thing I have never heard of or can't get here in Australia but that can happen with any recipe online.

5. A Bucket List
I have a bucket list. i think they are a great way to have all your life goals in one place and a reminder of why you can't give up just yet.Thank to this Instagram my list is getting longer and longer each day. Some of them are really unique and some I already had on mine but  i think its a great place to get some inspiration and ideas if you have a bucket list.

6.Official No Bad Days
7.Perfect Sayings
8.Visually Inspiring
So I love quotes and these 3 instagrams post some of the best. Some make me think and some just make my day better.

I have probably forgotten some and I am sure I will find more users that I love but for now this is it.

So a few nights ago i went to a restaurant called Maha in Melbourne and I loved it. We went to celebrate my mum and a friends birthday and there were 5 of us that went.It was a amazing experience and had a great atmosphere that is laid back but you still feel like you are at a fancy restaurant. The food is middle eastern, mediterranean and is delicious. We had the 6 course degustation and it was some of the best food i have had at a restaurant. Before you get your first course they bring a little bread roll and then a little shot of hibiscus tea and you have to say "saha" right before you drink the tea.

Then came first course which was smoked pork hock broth, silver beet, beans, quail egg.It was beautiful and had a really strong meaty flavor.

Second course was smoked kibbeh neya, yohurt wasabi foam, soy pearls, mint, cucumber, rice cracker. When I read the menu i had no idea what kebbeh neya was turns out it is raw tuna. This was very nice but the wasabi foam was really strong for me
Third course was poached rainbow trout, tapioca, dill, candied walnuts, salmon caviar, trout pashmak. This has to be the best fish I have ever had I loved it.
Fourth Course was corn fed chicken tagine, broken egg, corn bread, saffron, iranian figs, sucuk soil. This was my favorite savory dish. The flavors were amazing and I love the little fig.
Fifth course was Lamb loin, tahini mousse, roasted eggplant foam, freekah, quinoa, fried cauliflower and shoulder cigar. I don't really eat a lot of lamb but this was really nice, I loved the cigar and the foam.
Last course for me was the best it was beetroot sponge, beetroot ganache, watermelon rosewater ice, milk chocolate peppermint crisp ice cream I loved this so much.
We also ordered a bowl of Turkish delight donuts. They were so yummy.
And the best thing before we left we got a little spice mix and all the girls got a packet with the ingredients to make the donuts which just made the night that much better. So all in all i had a great time and hope to go there again some day. Thanks to all staff at Maha for make our night so enjoyable.
